Check out this Facebook event which was allegedly created by one of my friends who, then allegedly invited me to attend the event, a VERY credible person too! Head of the news room at a Jamaican media house, but what aroused my suspicious is the friend who invited me is a MALE and the event is advertising some $500 discount or something like that for clicking a link and signing up for some VICTORIA SECRETS THINGIES *Eeerrrrksss!!* Draw breaks right deh so!
Thank God the virus is NOT smart enough to properly choose who should invite whom to these fake 'events' by scanning past convo history etc, as if it was my good friend Joy Cash, the Victoria Secrets freak.. LOL had 'invited' me, I would have probably foolishly clicked the damned link BEFORE I realised what was up! *sigh*
FB has become like a friggin' mine field, one cannot Facebook without a healthy degree of caution... Come on Facebbok, leave Google alone with their stupid grade school prototype PLUS + nonsense! Your *LIKE* button is the BOMB and the BEST thing invented since sex! Come disable this bug that is able to create invents and send out invites from people's FB accounts without them being aware and the inviting MORE THAN HALF A MILLION MORE PEOPLE!!
